The reason may be that in a world that is trying to become more and more Politically Correct, Anti-Bullying, and Non-Discriminatory, creating a new class of people, Basic Bitches, gives people a socially acceptable way to hate, dislike, make fun of, ridicule, bully, discriminate, and dehumanize... 

Sadly, most of the Basic Bitch Bashing is done by women against other women...
